Graphical Front-End for Simulink based Standalone Simulation Programs

ecSIM is a graphical user interface for independent simulation programs (standalone EXE) generated from Simulink models.

Step 1: Generating the ecSIM Standalone Simulation Program
  1. In the Real-Time Workshop options, click on „Browse“ and select the ECSim target.
  2. Select „Build“ to generate the Simlation Program.


Step 2: Exporting Parameters & Views

Step 3: Using the ecSIM GUI
  • Navigate in the familiar graphical model hierarchy
  • Modify & save parameters using standard dialogs and/or external editors
  • Run independent standalone simulations and view the results graphically

ecSIM GUI
The ecSIM GUI allows users to

  1. modify all parameters exported with ecsexport
  2. navigate in all subsystems exported with ecsexport

ECSim offers professional multi-window graphical output of simulation results with many additional options. Example: scanning of curve points.
